Our Unisocial initiative is teaming up with the Hong Kong Red Cross to hold a blood donation drive on 25 January 2026! 

 

To be a donor you must:

​

• Have good health

• Weigh 41 kg or above (90 lbs or above)

• Be aged between 16 and 65*

 

If you meet all of the above requirements, we welcome you to join us in this act of kindness!

Important notes for potential donors:

​

• Please remember to bring your HKID card or valid travel document for registration. 
   

• To ensure the safety of both donors and recipients, the Blood Transfusion Service will strictly screen donors by checking their health history, haemoglobin, and blood pressure. They will only accept donations from those who meet all the eligibility criteria.
   

• If you are 66 or older and have completed a donation in the last two years, you can still donate with an annual health assessment and approval by the BTS medical officer, until you are 75. 
   

• Those aged 16 to 17 must have parental consent for their first donation and can donate three times a year, with at least 150 days between two consecutive donations. Adult males can donate up to five times a year, with at least 75 days between consecutive donations, and adult females can donate up to four times a year, with at least 105 days between consecutive donations.
